Installing the Credit Card Reader

Connect the credit card reader into a USB port on your computer. From the login screen, choose “Settings.” Choose “Card Reader Drivers.”   The download should start automatically.  Click “Ok” when done.

Installing the Fingerprint Device

Connect the fingerprint device into a USB port on your computer. From the login screen, choose “Settings.” Choose “Fingerprint Drivers.” Download 32 bit/64bit drivers. Install driver.

Installing the Star TSP100 Printer

Make sure all 3 cables (power to wall, cash drawer to printer, USB to computer) are connected to the back of the printer. From the login screen, choose “Settings.” Choose “Printer Drivers.” Choose “Download 32bit/64bit drivers.” Install drivers.

Touch Screen is Not Working

Press “Start.” Under programs, choose “Touch Pad” and then “Touch Tool.” Under the General tab press “9 pts. Linearization” or under the Advance tab press “25 pts. Linearization.” Follow the instruction on the screen.

Error Message When Card is Swiped

Make sure you swipe the card correctly with the magnetic strip facing the correct side. Verify that there are funds in the account being used. Verify that the merchant information is correct via the manager screen under “Locations” and then “Settings.” Locate the location and press “Edit”, then click on the “Merchant Services” tab. Verify that your Internet is working and you are not in offline mode. Download drivers again from the main page under settings.

View All Refunds

From the Manager Screen choose Accounting > Refunds.   Select the date range you would like to view. Then click the “Load” button.

View Total Sales by Employee

You have two options: Option 1 From the Real-Time Dashboard, choose the region (or check-mark “Show all regions”) and desired date. Under “Total Sales By Employee” you can see all your Employees that worked on the desired date. View Total Sales by Location

You have three options: Option 1 From The Real-Time Dashboard, choose the region (or check-mark “Show all regions”) and the desired date. Under “Total Sales By Location” you can see all your locations. Option 2 From the Manager screen, choose “Locations” and then “Reports.” Choose the region, choose the location and desired dates (From date → To Date) and then press “Load” icon. Option 3 From the Manager screen, choose “Accounting” and then “Profit/Loss Report.” Choose the region (or check-mark “Show all regions”), select the desired dates (From date → To Date) and then press the “Load” icon.

View Changes to Inventory Report

You have two options: Option 1 From the Manager screen, choose “Inventory” and then “View Changes.” Choose the region (at the top of the screen) and the desired date range (From date → To Date), then press the “load” icon. Option 2 From The Real-Time Dashboard, choose the region (or check-mark “Show all regions”) and the desired date. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to view “Inventory Changes.”
