Accessing the new Mobile App

The new Mobile App is now available for both iOS and Android devices. Click here to download the app for iOS. Click here to download the app for Android.   Enter your Company Name, personal Username, and personal Password that you’ve set up in Nova. *They are all case sensitive.   You should now be logged into the Mobiles App Dashboard You can now choose a Date Range on the Dashboard

iPad: Dashboard and End of Day Report

Below are instructions on how to find: Dashboard End of Day Report From the Sales Screen, on the side menu, tap on “Reports” to reveal the Dashboard and End of Day report. Then tap on whichever one you would like to open.   Dashboard Set the date range in the top right corner.   End of Day Report You may print the report using the Printer icon in the top left corner. You may also type notes at the bottom of the page and click “Save.”                

iPad: Favorite Products

You may now save Products to a “Favorites” section of the Sales Screen.  The Favorites list is specific to each User. Whoever is logged in will see only their Favorites. To add a product to your favorites list: Choose the product from the Sales Screen   Tap on the white star in the upper right corner. It will then become red.   You can now find it on the side menu when tapping on the “Favorites” star.            

iPad: Cash Drawer Options

To access the Cash Drawer options, choose Cash Drawer from the side menu of the Sales Screen.   Tap on the Cash Drawer function you would like to perform.   Cash Count, Add Money, and Take Money Out, are all performed the same as they are in the full version of Nova. Enter the dollar amounts and click “Submit” when done.

iPad: Refunds

From the Sales Screen, tap on the Menu icon in the top left corner and choose “Returns.”   Open the customers invoice by Entering the Invoice # or if it was the last sale, click “Open Latest.”   Tap the Refund icon in the upper right corner. Then choose to Refund Entire Invoice or Some Products.   Choose your refund method and click Submit in the top right corner. Then follow any other instructions that pop up.                

Scheduling Appointments

From the Sales Screen, on the bottom row, click on the Appointments icon.   Sign in with your password to open your Calendar.   At the top of the calendar choose which Location and which date range you would like to view.   Double click on a specific date to add an Appointment.   Add in the name, details, dates/times and location of the appointment.  Be sure to attach the Customer as well.   At the top, you may make this a recurring appointment if this will be a weekly or monthly event.  You may also print an appointment slip Read more
