Here is a step by step guide to completing a sale in the iPad app.
1 From the Sales Screen, choose a product by tapping on it or searching for it in the search bar at the top of the page.
2 Add any discounts and then press “Add to Cart.”
3 In the Shopping Cart add any Additional Discount or Coupon, then press the red “Charge” button at the bottom.
4 Choose your Payment Method then click the red “Confirm Payment” button when done.
Card: Swipe or Manually Enter the Card info.
Cash: Choose from the cash totals displayed or enter a custom total by tapping on the number under “Cash Collected.”
Check: Enter the Name on the check and the check number. You may also take a picture of the check for your records.
Gift Cards: Enter Gift Card Code.
5 Finishing the Sale
Choose Print, Email, Gift Receipt, or any combination of the three just by tapping them and highlighting them in green.
Add Customer You may attach an existing customer to the sale or create a new one by tapping “Add Customer.”
Manage Split By tapping “Manage Split” you may split the sale between several employees by percentage or dollar amount.
8 Tap the red “Done” button when finished
